Morgan appeared in a documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women about AIDS education and prevention. The proceeds from the film were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led many other fundraising projects to fight AIDS and has testified before the particular Congressional Commission on AIDS Education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his place in AIDS occasions. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have appeared on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy nomination for a special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan co-starred on the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Then, she was transported to Luxembourg to film Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the production. Morgan also starred as the lead in a thriller about psychological issues that was solely produced by the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings that the network has ever had.
